This project is located in Huailai County, Zhangjiakou City. Commissioned by the Huailai County Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, the Group Company undertook the comprehensive construction tasks. Through systematic renovation, the project has achieved a complete upgrade of the water supply system from the source to the end-user.
The project involved a large-scale renewal of the intricate underground pipeline network. The total length of aging water supply pipelines renovated reached 44,365 meters. Multi-hole interior water supply risers were replaced in multiple residential communities, totaling 20,423 meters. Additionally, 4,500 sets of intelligent remote-reading water meters were installed, alongside the construction of supporting facilities such as intelligent fire hydrants and valve chambers.
The project commenced on October 21, 2023, and was fully completed on June 26, 2024. Facing challenges including winter construction in northern China and a complex environment, the project team organized the work scientifically and efficiently completed the renovation tasks.
The construction environment for this project was exceptionally complex. The underground utilities were diverse with unclear burial depths, and they intersected with hazardous lines such as high-voltage cables, gas pipelines, and national defense optical cables. The construction zone was long and narrow, located in a bustling downtown area with continuous traffic and numerous shops, imposing stringent requirements for environmental protection and noise reduction. The project team brainstormed solutions, proactively identified risk points, and scientifically planned the construction sequence and workspace utilization. Construction hours were optimized, and manpower and equipment were dynamically allocated to achieve efficient streamlined operations. Strict safety protection and environmental measures were implemented throughout, resulting in zero safety or quality incidents and zero environmental complaints for the entire construction period.
The client and supervision units highly commended the project, unanimously recognizing the Group Company's outstanding coordination capabilities, refined construction execution, and strong sense of social responsibility demonstrated under such complex working conditions.
