On September 5, 2025, the kick-off meeting for two group standards—Technical Specification for the Application of Steel Slag Concrete Piles and Technical Specification for Small-Diameter Steel Piles—chaired by the Group Company and approved by the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association (CECS), was successfully held at the Group Company’s headquarters in Hebei.
The meeting was presided over by Ding Hongyuan, Secretary-General of the Investigation Committee of CECS. Attendees from the Group Company included Chief Engineer Nie Qingke, Director of the Technical Quality Department Shang Weidong, and chief engineers from several production units. The meeting also brought together expert representatives from participating organizations such as Shijiazhuang Tiedao University, Beijing Jiaotong University, Hebei Provincial Communications Planning, Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., China North Industries Norengeo Ltd., Hebei Provincial Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd., Shanxi Provincial Investigation & Design Research Institute Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Geotechnical Investigation & Surveying Institute (Group) Co., Ltd., WSDRI Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited, angshan Zhongye Di Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd., Hebei Haichuang Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd., Tangshan Caofeidian Railway Construction Co., Ltd., Tangshan Jianbiao Engineering Project Management Consulting Co., Ltd., Xingtai Huaxin Geotechnical Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd., China Hebei Construction & Geotechnical Investigation Group (Hainan) Ltd., and Hebei Shuangcheng Construction Engineering Testing Co., Ltd.
At the kick-off meeting, Secretary-General Ding Hongyuan announced the official launch of the compilation work for the two group standards and elaborated on the management regulations, technical requirements, and procedural norms for standard formulation. In his concluding remarks, Chief Engineer Nie Qingke expressed sincere gratitude to CECS for its trust and to all participating units for their support. He emphasized that all contributors should carefully review relevant literature, summarize practical engineering experience, clarify the innovative and leading role of the standards, and strive to complete the compilation task with high quality and according to schedule.
The official launch of the two CECS group standards undertaken by the Group Company marks another step forward in the Group Company’s standardization efforts. The Group Company will seize this opportunity to gather wisdom and strength, continuously promote new achievements in the "Five Modernizations Initiative," and contribute further to realizing its vision of "building a top-class geotechnical engineering technology group and ensuring everlasting business."
