On June 5, 2025, Mr. Xu Hongsheng, President of the Geotechnical & Engineering Survey Committee of the China Engineering & consulting Association, led a delegation to the Group Company for research and guidance. The delegation was received by Mr. Li Huawei, Chairman of the Group Company; Mr. Liu Liping, Deputy General Manager; Mr. Nie Qingke, Chief Engineer; Mr. Hu Jianmin, Chief Economist; Mr. Li Youdong, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors; Mr. Liang Jinguo, President of the Hebei Engineering Investigation, Design and Consulting Association; and other executives. Together, they engaged in in-depth discussions on innovation-driven development in the engineering investigation industry and strategic planning for the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
At the meeting, Chairman Li Huawei extended a warm welcome to President Xu Hongsheng and his delegation. He comprehensively presented the Group Company’s 70-year development journey and achievements, emphasizing its commitment to national strategic priorities. Chairman Li highlighted how initiatives such as the dual-market strategy, dual-headquarters model, "management + equipment" operational framework, and specialized talent development programs have driven high-quality growth. As a Vice President unit of the association, the Group Company will continue advancing the internationalization of Chinese engineering standards and strive to become a top-class geotechnical engineering technology group. Chairman Li further pledged to increase R&D investment, deepen industry-university-research collaboration, and support sustainable industry development in response to the association’s call.
President Xu Hongsheng expressed gratitude for the hospitality and acknowledged the Group Company’s longstanding support for the association. He commended the Group Company’s accomplishments in technological innovation, market expansion, and social responsibility. President Xu emphasized that as an industry leader, the Group Company should further summarize its advanced practices to provide valuable insights for the sector’s transformation and serve as a benchmark for high-quality development. He affirmed the association’s commitment to fostering exchange platforms, enhancing enterprise collaboration, and promoting policy implementation to collectively embrace opportunities under the 15th Five-Year Plan.
During the exchange, leaders held extensive discussions on the prospects of the engineering investigation and design industry for the 15th Five-Year Plan period. Key topics included traditional industry upgrading, digital empowerment, and green, low-carbon transition. Consensus was reached on accelerating digital technology adoption, facilitating industrial chain synergy, strengthening enterprise standard systems, and enhancing global competitiveness. The dialogue pooled collective wisdom to contribute actionable insights for the industry’s new development roadmap.
