The Zhangzhou Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Project Phase I, Stage II is located in Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province and is invested by Pipe China Mintou (Fujian) Natural Gas Co., Ltd. A total of 456 piles with pile diameter of 1.2m and pile length of 20m, 456 piles with pile diameter of 1.2m and pile length of 19m, and 2,170 vibro-replacement stone column with pile diameter of 1.1m and pile length of 7m were completed.

The project started on July 31, 2022 and was completed on March 27, 2023 with a construction period of 140 days. During the construction process, the project personnel made a simple casing connector, which effectively solved the problem of casing lifting problem while ensuring that the main reinforcing cage would not be damaged. This method effectively solves the problem of difficulty in lifting and pulling out the casing caused by the small space between the inner wall of the casing and the reinforcement cage, improves the construction quality of rotary bored piles, reduces the potential construction accidents, and is worth to be promoted and used in the similar construction in the future.

With the joint efforts of all the staff of the project department and the strong support of the supervisors and the owner, the project department overcame the difficulties of adverse geological conditions, epidemic prevention and control, and successfully completed the construction tasks, and won the recognition of the supervisor and the owner side in all aspects of construction management. The project entity has passed the acceptance of the owner, supervisor, and third-party testing unit, and all the piles have been tested to meet the acceptance conditions of the national norms, which is in line with the national, industry and other relevant construction and acceptance norms and design requirements.
